I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study in Toulouse. In 2019, I will begin as an Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University. I hold a Ph.D. in Political Science from New York University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
I study the political economy of legal institutions. More specifically, I am interested in the endogenous emergence of legal institutions and in the political and economic determinants of access to justice, jurisdictional reach and content, and competition between multiple legal services providers.
